ASPHALT PAVING

This would apply to jobs that do not have an existing pavement or surfaces that require complete replacement. This process includes preparing the site, grading and compaction of aggregate base, and placement and compaction of hot-mix asphalt.

ASPHALT RESURFACING

Resurfacing is adding a new layer of asphalt over pavement surfaces that are structurally capable of supporting an additional layer. Resurfacing includes the cleaning and preparation of existing pavement, application of liquid bonding agent, and placement and compaction of hot-mix asphalt.

ASPHALT PATCH REPAIR

Asphalt patching is required to repair potholes or utility cuts in existing pavement. Patching includes excavation of damaged area, application of liquid bonding agent to edges, filling with and compaction of hot-mix asphalt.

ASPHALT SEAL COATING

Seal coating is a process used to fill cracks and rejuvenate existing asphalt surfaces that are not to the point of needing resurfacing. Seal coating includes the cleaning and preparation of existing pavement, application of latex crack filler when needed, and application of liquid sealant by spraying or brooming onto existing pavement.

STRIPING

Marking new surfaces with directional symbols and parking lines.

GRADING & STONE SPREADING

This includes grading of an existing or new site to establish proper grade for water drainage. Stone is then applied to desired depth and re-graded. Compaction with vibratory roller may be used if necessary or requested by customer.
